At SNMM Hospital, Cherthala, we believe that no one should face Parkinson’s Disease alone. In a significant step toward supporting those affected by Parkinson’s and related movement disorders, our hospital has partnered with the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorder Society (PDMDS), India to conduct free support group classes at our X-Ray Junction facility.
Why These Support Classes Matter
Parkinson’s Disease is a progressive neurological condition that affects movement, speech, and motor skills — but its impact goes far beyond the physical. Individuals often face emotional and psychological challenges, from anxiety and isolation to reduced quality of life. That’s why holistic care is essential.
Our collaboration with PDMDS aims to offer more than just medical treatment. It provides a safe and compassionate space where patients can connect, learn, and regain a sense of control over their lives.

- Guided group exercises to improve mobility and strength
- Cognitive and speech therapy activities
